Google just launched a new unofficial and free open-source solution: GIGA – running entirely on Google Cloud. It’s designed to help marketers and agencies interpret keyword data more intelligently using AI. And yes, it works surprisingly fast.

What it does
GIGA uses AI to cluster and analyze keyword data, helping you uncover meaningful patterns across large datasets. It surfaces search trends and strategic insights based on your inputs, giving you a clearer view of what matters in your market. With up-to-date signals, it supports better campaign optimization—and it’s particularly useful for spotting high-potential product categories before your competitors do.

What you need

1. A Google Ads account with a Developer Token

2. A Google Cloud project with Vertex AI enabled

3. Access to Google Workspace (to run Apps Script via Sheets)

My experience so far
I was curious to try it out – and within 15 minutes I had it running. Compared to some other tools on Google Cloud, setup was refreshingly smooth.

Here’s what stood out:

  • From just 14 seed keywords (you can add up to 20), it generated data for 1,673 keywords

  • One-click keyword clustering into 11 themed groups, including search volume per theme

  • It offered insights per theme – though only positive trends were shown

  • It even gave a campaign strategy — though that part was a bit too optimistic

Interestingly, the keyword data differed from what I see in the Keyword Planner – which raises questions about data sources or modeling differences.

This was just a quick test, so I might need to tweak language models or configurations. But even at this early stage, GIGA looks useful for quickly surfacing keyword ideas at scale.

Have you tried GIGA yet?
Curious to hear how others are using it – and whether your results align.
